IMPORTANT:
ALL 2009 PETITIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE OFFICE OF THE VALUE ADJUSTMENT BOARD BY SEPTEMBER 14, 2009, THE DATE SHOWN ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAXES (TRIM NOTICE).
AFTER THE DEADLINE ABOVE, A GOOD CAUSE REQUEST MUST BE FILED ALONG WITH A PETITION.

The Petition Filing Fee for a single parcel is $15 and must be submitted with your Petition. For petitions containing contiguous parcels, the Petition Filing fee is $15 plus $5 per parcel. A Petition will not be considered filed until the fee is received.
Please complete the appropriate online Petition by filling in all required fields and and clicking submit. While filling out the Petition, please do not click the "Back" button on your web browser.
After submitting your Petition, you will be prompted to submit the VAB's required $15.00 filing fee by MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover. There is also a nonrefundable transaction fee of $5.00 charged by the financial service provider when you pay by credit card. The description on your credit card billing statement will be MyFloridaCounty.com. Only debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo are accepted.
You are REQUIRED to provide a valid email address to electronically submit a Petition online. The VAB will email you regarding the status of your Petition. If accepted, the County will provide in this email a Petition # and PIN which enables you to log into this site to track your Petition, as well as submit and review evidence.
If you are filing a Petition with contiguous parcels, it is recommended that you DO NOT file online. If you choose to do so you must file a separate Petition for each parcel and the filing fee will be $15 per parcel. Alternatively, if you file in person or by mail, you can file one Petition for a fee of $15 plus $5 per parcel.
